Breeo Fire Pit Cooking

I just got a Breeo for my birthday and wondered if anyone has cooked on it yet. I would love to build a head deflector and set up a makeshift cochon de lait rig for whole pigs.
Just trying to marry the two concepts

Hate to be the one to say "no" but I dont see it being able to distribute heat the entire length of a whole pig. The heat will be funneled due to the cylindrical design.
The grate placed over the top works well because it's directly above the funneled heat.
You should absolutely try to build a cinder block whole roaster one day though. It's on my list of cooking endeavors.

Yea I don't know about the whole pig but you can sear a steak and I've cooked burgers on it.

the genius of the circular grate design is that it maximizes grilling space. you could easily fit 2, possibly 3 more peppers on that bad boy

I stick to beef because it does fine with an inconsistent temp. The tri-tip, flank and skirt steaks turned out the best. I finished the spatchcock chicken in my kamado joe to get the right temp. I’ve really enjoyed mine.

How does the Breeo do as a fire pit? I’m trying to decide between it and Solo. I’ve been around a Solo before and it worked really well. I like the versatility of the Breeo though.
