This is the biggest reason why DeSantis would be the best candidate in 2024. It's all about articulating the issues people are facing and tying it back to the Democratic policies they previously voted for.

So pander to stupid people?

You make them move to you, you don't move towards them.

That's why Trump needs to be the candidate.

Leaving Trump/not Trump aside, do you seriously believe stupid can be cajoled out of people. Stupid can be debated away?

It's working in Florida as Republicans now have more registered voters than Democrats do. Imagine taking that approach on a national scale.

Adapt or die. Expand the base by articulating your message in a way that calls out the horrendous policies of your opponent and tie it into how it hampers their lives.

Do you want to win or do you want to lose? The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over again and expecting a different result. Frick feelings, I want to fricking win.

I anxiously await all you bitch arse GOP figs telling us how DeSantis’ tone isn’t quite right in two more years.

His tone is fine. I won't get on him unless he loses. If he loses either his Governor race or in 2024 if he gets the GOP nomination I'll get on him. I hate politicians who lose. So far DeSantis has proven to be a winner. He's not batting .500 or .000 like a few other politicians. Losers (of any race) can go frick themselves.
