That’s my problem. Don’t know what I’m looking for. That’s why I gravitate to modeling amps.
A fender mustang GTX with the Tonecloud app. And I’m more than set. But also, I fall into the trap of never learning just piddling with sounds. Lol

That video explains what the Clapton bluesbreaker tone is, how he originally got it, and how musicians, pedal makers, and amp manufacturers have attempted to replicate it with varying degrees of success. If you watch the video, you’ll learn several options to get that tone through a clean style tube amp (think a fender tweed, twin reverb, blues jr, or hot rod deluxe).
