A lot of people who work in the high tech side of the economy are agnostic/atheists and believers in the eventuality of Trans Humanism….that’s their hope for eternal life.

I didn't mention Charlotte in my OP but holy cow, went visit a friend there this summer and couldn't believe the amount of Soy's that live there. I guess I should have expected it from the Breweries in South End

They're largely products of big educational institutions that are massively liberal and they make really good money so they can live in the ultra white gated communities, making it easier for them to hold progressive views. They're the ultimate NIMBY liberals.
Suggest a drug administration center or a low cost housing development in their neighborhood and see how they react.
