Interest in the war seems to be waning already

After just one week of narcissists on social media making Ukraine about themselves, it seems like the average American (simpletons) is already over it and DGAF.
So what crisis will be next?

Muh Climate Change and climate lockdowns would be my guess

Can you blame people, the coverage has been so ridiculous and dishonest it’s hard to believe anyone will stay interested.

That's always the default crisis
I figure they will ramp up the war somehow. They needed this, begged for it to happen, then purposely made it happen by leaking info to China.

Price of (fill in the blank) that is out of control. But this is a serious one and is real. That should be the crisis we actually focus on.

It was always going to be this way. The west isn’t going to support the insurgency(if there even is one) longer than a few months and you’ll start seeing sanctions quietly rolled back after Putin buttons this thing up.

If/ when the Russians start leveling Kyiv I think it'll ratchet up again. There hasn't been a whole lot of action the past few days compared to the beginning. Other than some big artillery strikes on Kharkiv.

Another covid variant is a possibility. It is not something I am concerned about but might stir up the sheep population.

Interesting. You think Russia will magically bomb Poland or something?
If they want eletric cars for all, keeping this going will help that

As upset as I was about the election, it's been nice to watch libs fumble around since they can't blame the orange man for everything. The angry texts about politics have stopped since the basement dummy took office.

Not sure. I just figured Russia will start bombing shite more and we will be bombarded with even more fear porn from it.

They certainly did try to make the invasion of Ukraine his fault, though

True. I can see more ghost of kiev stories or how Miss Ukraine 1990 snipered 16 tanks before she was blown up

Vindman has really rustled me with his hysterics lately.

Remember when Assad was backing off and magically used chemical weapons, causing "I won't get involved in Syria" Trump to launch a strike?
Something like that could happen. Wrong weapon or wrong target strategically gets hit and the coordinated media jumps on the story immediately and creates memes out of likely staged photos similar to this one:

Mark Warner said on TV last week a cyberattack that affects a NATO country triggers Article V. If the war machine really wants it, I suspect that is how this is going to happen.

As all the ruins start looking the same they will lose interest.
War provides for some I intense visuals.
They would rather the “fear of the unknown” where the threat is always around the corner but never really gets here.
