Putin has warned numerous times over the last 22 years that continued NATO expansion was a threat. He said it over and over again. What he wanted was his sphere of influence.
It is not that Putin is anti- globalist. It's that we won't let him become a globalist....be one of the 5 families so to speak. BTW you can thank Bill Clinton and his foreign policy braintrust for sewing the seeds of this conflict. NATO expansion began in earnest during his second term.
Anyway, he probably has to be put down like a dog....that being said the US and Europe had best make a deal with his replacement so as to avoid this ever happening again....and make a deal that NATO expansion stops at the Polish border.
