We have a big fat cat who likes to roll around in dirt.
So yes we have to bath him….. probably about once a month. He obviously doesn’t like it and makes some crazy cat sounds. But he has yet to maul us so he is a good boy.

Depends on the cat and the circumstances.
Hold them by the scruff of the neck, it doesn't hurt them and you can control them better. We do it in the shower, using the hose attachment, and make sure the water is warm. Use the right shampoo so you don't dry their hair and skin out, dry them good in a towel, give them a treat afterwards.
