Anyone know or heard if the LSU/LaTech game could be a blackout on ESPN+ for folks in that area? Just have a feeling something like that seems to always happen.

Nah, you pay for the subscription. There won't be a blackout.

It doesn't apply, but it's sold out anyway so blackout rules wouldn't apply.

That type of rule only applies to pro sports.

Cox/Yurview has broadcasting rights for the La Tech game. No clue if they'll let ESPN+ broadcast in the area or if it will be a Cox/Yurview (Cox Channel 4) exclusive.

Not sure. In the past COX has put the game on ESPN3 for those outside the COX viewing area but blacked it out for those in the viewing area. But that was before ESPN+ and signing up for a paid subscription to do it.

Hopefully that CajunLSU guy is streaming on his blogspot if Cox decides to be jerks.

Do college baseball games even get blacked out?

Just another reason to dump Cox.

Oh yeah, all the time. I’m in Shreveport which is in a Cox Cable area, even though Cox is only offered in Bossier. So sometimes when LSU baseball has been on Cox & ESPN3 or plus, ESPN would black it out. Pretty sure it’s Bin Laden’s fault.

So in Cenla we used to get CST on channel 56. Now they change the name and don’t even give us the channel?

If they do pull a blackout on you, just get a free vpn extension for your browser, set your location to Canada, or anyplace outside of the blackout, and watch the game. I used to do this for MLB all the time. They have some of the dumbest blackout regions for their games.
