The point is to redefine both of these words in reference to support of Trump. When people point out that Trumpism is becoming a religion, SirWinston is the perfect example.

Conservativism has a long history and plenty of clear definitions. But Newspeak demands that we pretend that words mean whatever the would-be Kommissars like SirWinston want them to mean.

And the attempted redefinition of Christianity as Trumpism is blasphemy. Christianity has never been in more danger in the United States, and the danger from perverts such as SirWinston who want to transform it into a religion of their choosing is greater than the danger from the Left, whose opposition is at least open and honest.

As I have said, the totalitarian impulse of the SirWinston types is why they love Putin.
