How do you know that punch is not coming?

One of the nagging doubts about Kherson to me is with regards to mobility. UAF use of technicals and modded out vehicles to supplement BMP's has been note worthy.

In Kharkiv, they used Bushmaster's and the M113's for mobility and exploited the general Russian melee and confusion. Tactically astounding.

I'm wary because on surface it seems that they had to cobble all of this transport together.

Yeah, it's one thing to land a big punch. It's another to have the means to sustain a follow-up.

Ukraine has indeed suffered from a real shortage of vehicles. That's undoubtedly why last week's aid package from the US included:

quote:

100 Armored High-Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWV);

Ukraine has needed these for a while, but US logistics can only transport so much at a time, and other needs have been more pressing.
