re: Yard Drainage Question

So I've been SLOWLY working on my yard drainage and fencing over the last year. My house is the same shape. I connected nonperforated french drains directly to my gutters which then run 10 or 15 feet and connect to perforated french drains that run down the sides of my yard into my ditch. In the back of my yard in the low spot I put a catch basin. The catch basin works great and I also like this fiber/mesh filter that sits in the catch basin to prevent sediment from flowing down the pipes. I also wrapped the perforated pipes in the same stuff and back filled with gravel to cover pipe and allow water to drain into the pipe. My gutter downspouts havent overflowed but I've only had this done for 1 year. Hope this helps some.

Big help. I really think once I tie in the downspouts that will solve most of my water problem. I shot the elevations with an instrument so it’s not guess work.
