Campbell’s arms are too short. They measure 33”, while the majority of NFL LTs measure 34”.......

I don't understand what's unfair about this. 33" arms is short for a high-end OT. That's an objective truth. The average arm length for all drafted OTs--not just high draft picks but all draft picks--is 34 1/8 inches. 33" arms is a legitimate drawback for a tackle.

Just curious what the average arm length was for that same set of drafted OTs when they were high school seniors ...

Yeah, let’s ignore how a player actually performs in games and camps. Let’s rate him on his arm length.

A couple of years ago prior to the NFL Draft there was a guy who was being criticized by some of these “geniuses” about his hand size being too small for an NFL QB. Some people thought it made perfect sense and that it should lower the QB’s draft status. His name is Joe Burrow.

This kind of schitt is why these recruiting services are a joke. Whoever actually believes this BS is naive. Are we going to have arm length rankings now? This is too stupid to believe yet some people will act like this is valid and ignore actual player performance. Idiocy.

It could be the fact that arm length is a horrible deciding factor on whether a tackle will perform well when they are 33" or more. 33" is baseline while 34" is ideal but the extra inch does not make you a better tackle. Rashawn Slater was not drafted by the Carolina panthers because of his 33" arms and all he did was perform to the point of making second team all pro in his rookie season for the Chargers. Penei Sewell also has 33 inch arms. He was only considered the #1 tackle coming out of college and selected 7th overall in the draft. Using that as a reason to drop a tackles recruiting grade for College is retarded.
