Colombia does not have any ski lifts but the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, a separate area to the Andes and one of the most northerly mountain ranges in South America are snow-capped and it is possible for experienced ski mountaineers to hike up and ski down them.

The mountains, which are located on the Northern region of Colombia's Caribbean coast, 42km away, reach up to 5,700m (18,701ft) but the surrounding land is no higher than 200m above sea level maximum so it is a significant vertical scent to reach the snow.

The nearest airport is located at the city of Santa Marta, 42km (27 miles) away on a dirt road, first to the township of Minca, then to Cerro Kennedy, and on to the San Lorenzo Experimental Station, approximately a one and a half hour ride.

It appears technically possible to ski in Colombia but it's pretty arduous

I know some teams used to go train in the summer in Colombia and Andes.
