The problem is there are MANY ways to knock a guy out of a game...and they are CLEARLY fixated on cheap or illegal ways, and I don't think that's what Francois was talking about. Hell...who tells a media guy they are going to cheap shot the reigning Heisman winner out of a game?!?
So long as a player doesn't do something illegal in a hit, I have NO PROBLEM with them wanting to pass through the other guy's soul when making a tackle.

You have to admit it was kind of stupid...especially after the Chaz Ramsey comments he was making before the AU game.
But in his defense, I don't think he implied a cheap shot in any way.
The media frickheads are being so hypocritical and trying to flame the subject. The same MFs on their high horses are the same ones replaying the hardest hits on the highlight reels every week. Grow up people. RJF in no way implied we were going to play dirty. You know AU was happy when they knocked our qb out of the game...and we would feel the same way if we did it to Tebow. But, now if he gets hurt, it will be automatically viewed as dirty. It's freakin' football. Aren't you supposed to hit people hard?
