1 USD = 450,000 Venezuelan Bolivars

And they erased 6 zeroes from the currency in October of 2021. They have days of million % inflation.
And its the fourth generation of currency they have had in the last 5 years. Erasing a total of 16 zeroes off of their currency. 1 USD would be worth 10,000,000,000,000,000,450,000 in Venezuelan Bolivars 7 years ago.
Socialism is quite a bitch.
And tens of millions of Americans want that.

Married to a Venezuelan woman, her mother lives with us. Such a beautiful country and people. It's a fricking shame what is going on there.

Venezuelan in laws.. lost all their businesses and moved here gradually over the past 15 years. All of them here now.

Mine don't, and never did. They see the DEM party for what it is. We watch news from Venezuela every night, and its always sad to watch. More power for the government, no rights for the people.

Very untrue. My company did business there for over 100 years. 100 years!

Everyone worth their salt left the country. Engineers, doctors, lawyers, welders, machinists, etc. etc. The mass exodus was staggering. One of the last reps we had there basically said a few years ago "no airlines will even fly into the local airport anymore. I am fearful I will not be able to leave unless I go now." He was of course scooped up by another company in another country immediately.
Some of the process engineers I know who've worked in the refineries down there have said they're ticking time bombs now -- very few people are left that know a damn thing about the equipment or processes anymore.
Sad, sad statement on socialism that most Americans are never told WILL happen here if they keep voting for the left.
