McAlister's HC'd in Ridgeland before moving to Atlanta. They all move to Atlanta if they're successful chains.

Makes sense to me, and note that the term "Atlanta" includes a lot of really nice areas that have nothing in common with "Atlanta." I have lived in "Atlanta" for 15 years now, and I can tell you I never cross the I-285 unless I have to do so.

There are so many restaurant chains located here, it just makes sense. It is easy to get suppliers to visit when they can hit all the key places at once. The airport is a huge benefit. The list of names hired makes it clear they wanted to be near a good source of employees. IHG and Inspire are almost within walking distance of each other. Yum! Brands is also right there in the same area.
