There is almost a zero percent chance of them retconning the sequel trilogy.
Do I think it's very possible that they downplay it in favor of the post-RotJ "Mando-verse" and the High Republic? Absolutely

This is exactly how I see it. They are going the High Republic route and incorporate live action series every year. Then in about 4 or 5 years new movie based on the content and around a story line people are following the most.
