I have no idea why anyone would purchase a new vehicle right now unless it was an absolute necessity, like you can’t get to work tomorrow necessity.

Because the prices they are giving for used trucks outweigh the increases in prices of new trucks.

My thoughts exactly. My 2012 Lariat is in excellent shape, only has 90k miles and is paid for. There is absolutely zero chance I trade that in for a new overpriced truck that they refuse to deal on. I'll gladly wait it out.

This. I had a drunk hit me and destroy my car. Had to buy one. I seriously thought about riding the bus for a year.

It's insane
I can get 15k more than I actually paid for my 2020 Denali HD Duramax and It's 2 years old with 34k miles
I've thought about taking the dealers offer,because I still have my 2001 Duramax that I could run my business with.
