I grew up on Manny Randazzo and it will always be my all-time favorite. Manny and Camellia City I find to be top notch. Not the Randazzo sold in a box in BR, but the fresh made ones from the bakery.
Nothing has ever come close for me…until I had Dong Phuong.
Dong Phuong is very good. But I don’t see any reason to freak out over them and go crazy. I’d wait maybe a half hour for a Randazzo and I would a Dong Phuong as well I guess.
Is it the best thing ever? No, but it is one of the best king cakes.
