I don't understand want anyone would want to sit in a living room type environment in the stadium

When I want to sit in my living room, I walk out of my bedroom and voila, I'm in my living room.

Don't get me wrong I like sitting in the suites.... Can go sit in the elements or retreat for a beverage during timeouts and halftime. But I certainly don't want to be in and enclosed space in the stadium. To me it dilutes the stadium experience which is the only reason to go to the stadium itself

It's pretty simple. Big Screen TV's, Smart Phones, Busy Lifestyles, Immediate Gratification, Cost Increases, Current Political Environment Of College Athletics and Frankly High Expectations.
If we aren't legitimately competing for a National Championship each year it doesn't mean anything to a lot of fans. Add all those things up and the fact that corporations have bought up a ton of seats/tickets and they simply don't show up enough or stay long enough. The VAST majority of seats open are the 35-35 yd line behind LSU and if they do get full...they are typically the first group out of the stadium.
It really does suck and is discouraging that it has come to this...but as most are saying it is not just LSU.

Don't have an answer to getting that type of atmosphere back unless its a NC year vs. big name.

Geaux Tigers!
