What if I told you there was a drug that basically failed its clinical trial to the point that they had to restate its endpoints and even then struggled to get approved despite multiple people who had ties to its development being part of the review process?

What if I also told you that drug was later linked to a 20x increase in kidney failure and has failed to show much if any in reduction in mortality?

Does that sound like a drug you would want to take?

Knew all this already. I said same.. but she is about to get it. So i was just asking for any good notes

This drug has failed with all the viruses it’s tried to stop.

Originally developed for Hep C, I believed…failed. Then tried against Ebola…failed.

Now finally being pushed for CoviD despite its lackluster performance in trials.
