Saban is from WV and played football at Kent St (OH). He spent most of his life coaching up north before coming to LSU. He seems to have done pretty well in the south.

Kelly is not a one hit wonder like Napier. In Kelly's first HC stint he took Grand Valley St to 3 straight DII NCs winning 2. At Cincy he won 2 Big East titles and had one undefeated season. At ND he has had 5 straight 10+ win seasons. Wherever Kelly goes, he wins.

Napier is not even a one hit wonder unless you’re counting the 1 conference title they had and lost to shitty teams. Just ask Ole Miss Baseball fans about Mike Bianco. That guy walks, talks and absolutely adopted Bertman’s style by being a PLAYER and ASSISTANT for him for 6 seasons including 3 titles. Hell, he even played Bertman’s old position!
