I will be down in the New Orleans on Saturday and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions where a good place would be to watch the game in the French Quarter? Thanks in advance.

the only place I have ever watched a game in NOLA is cooter browns which would be a short trolley ride down st. charles.

I typically avoid the 1/4

You might wanna try the Ugly Dog Bar and Saloon. Of course, you may end up leaving early if Tebow and his receivers catch fire against our slightly inferior secondary.

I thought it was called the Three Legged Dog or something like that?

Anyway, that's where I watched the North Texas game. Pretty decent bar food too. Nice little setup for a small bar in the quarter.

There are some really fun places at the very end of Bourbon Street.

1/4 - Old Absinthe House. They have old arse TVs, and not that many, but you'll be able to see. It's really the best bar on Bourbon for the crowd. Should be really fun there, but not LSU-esque. The bar tenders won't GAF that the game is on, and most people won't either, but that can be a good thing.

Masquerade in Harrah's always has a good crowd.
Gordon Biersch across from Harrah's has good beer and large crowd for every game. Sit inside or outside big screen tv's. Cooter's get crowded.
