Bastard! You must have took the last one.

Seriously though good catch, I've been watching you hunt for a room the last couple of weeks. I'm just trying to switch from Jacksonville to Gainesville

Damn, I guess I did or someone picked up the last few! I was at the quality inn and figured for the same price I'd take the nicer hotel.

Stayed in Jax two years ago at the Sea Turtle Inn...only took about 45min-1hr to get to campus.

I'll just keep an eye on it. You never know. I'm at $150 in Jax so it would be a no brainer.

That's actually where I'm staying! Coming in Friday evening, spending Saturday at Hyde and Zeke's record store hunting for old vinyl, then head on over to Griffin Stadium for the game.

ummmm....I called today and got a room at the "Gator Lodge Hotel" about 2 miles from the stadium for $65.

I'm guessing this place will be pretty swanky, anyone have any information on this place?

Congrats! I cancelled my 2 rooms there this morning. The woman I talked to didn't know how to transfer to someone else's name.

That's the Holiday Inn Express, not the Holiday Inn. The Holiday Inn has the best location of any hotel relative to the stadium. It's right at the corner of University and Thirteenth - about a quarter mile from the stadium... If you can get a room there, you have scored, big time.

For any of y'all staying in Jax, try to come downtown to the Jax Landing on Friday night. I'd love to see some purple and gold there...
