Do we need another high school RB at this point? Don't we have 6 or 7 RBs now? Citizen is a talent, no doubt, but we have more pressing needs. Also see that this state has two pretty good RBs in the 2023 class.

The WR from Newman? He got kicked off the team and has been back in FL for months now. Huge problem, nobody is really recruiting him.

Need is a strong word but we should probably take a RB in this class if there's one good enough to take like Citizen or the new TX kid who popped up recently and is blowing up.

Cain is probably a 1 and done
Kiner/Goodwin after him
Tre Bradford - who knows what's actually up here

I would count Josh Williams really as a former walk on, I know he gets some run but a lot of that was due to Emery being out all season and our only other backs were 2 freshmen who seemed to either be behind or hurt constantly.

RB is a big unknown to the fans. You are right. Only the coaches have a good handle on that situation. Cain and Emory have this year and then they should be out of here. Williams is a walk on to me as well.....it's those other three that confuse me. Are they good enough? If they are, will they stick around and wait a year or two?

Citizen was a one time commit and has had an offer for some time now. He can accept or decline the offer to become a TIGER. Decision time is this week end IMHO. sign up or move on

I'd like to see LSU save 2-3 transfer scholarships for after spring football.

Coaches will have a much better idea of what they need after spring practice.

So what's the story with Rutledge? He's an unranked HS recruit. Why would LSU offer him a scholarship vs a PWO?

He has insane speed and was the offensive MVP of his district in 5A football. I think he’s a name to watch, especially after Polian went in home with him this week.

You got believe that we lose at least 3 or 4 more players after the spring to attrition, which would free us up to sign a few more players out of the portal.

No way Kelly goes into the season with only 3 scholarship QBs. Brennan cannot be trusted to stay heakthy.

With 3 scholarship QB's on the roster, two with SEC experience, and one a 5 star true freshman, you are not getting a QB willing to sign with you out of the portal that is better than a current walk-on.
