The Australian rules are bullshite but he was a guest in their country. If you go there then follow their laws, if you don’t like their laws don’t go there. He isn’t special because he is a famous athlete. If he didn’t like the rules he should have protested by refusing to go play there.

I wouldn’t go to North Korea because I don’t like their authoritarian ways. I wouldn’t go to Australia right now either.
