Scots made them not want to come to visit, much less stay.

But that map is from our modern perspective. May I introduce you to a map from that time from a Roman perspective when the Mediterranean Sea was the center of the universe?

The cartograph peutinger is a series of maps of the important part of the Roman Empire.
