Agree completely, very happy with what Scott has done. But he does have a history of wanting his guys in place.
Don’t let that get in the way of the guy who is building a program.
I don’t want to be where Tennessee is at now. Sure, Rick Barnes is a good coach, but he’s never going to be what Bruce Pearl would have been long term. Instead Tennessee has to watch him build a program at a school that didn’t know what basketball looked like until 10 years ago.
ETA. I keep hearing over and over from friends that are more connected than I am saying Woody isn’t happy with Wade. When I ask why, the answer is always, I guess because he’s not his guy and he’s not his type of guy.
