Ice shelves collapsing may have nothing to do with temperature. They may have lost support under the glacier, or precipitation that feeds the glacier has diminished. Or, it could be a combination of things including warming.

Not to mention we’ve only been scientifically studying weather climate for 160 years. Accurately, 60? If you would call your weatherman being consistently wrong accurate.

Why not? It wouldn't be the first time terrestrial organisms affected atmospheric composition.
