I have a 2018 Ford F-150 and mine has recently lost a reliable connection via Bluetooth. It will not connect, or break connection, etc. while I'm trying to use it. I just run it through a cord now via CarPlay.
My wife has a 2021 GMC Yukon XL and that wireless CarPlay is sweet.

I have a 2019 and do this. The only thing I don’t like about CarPlay is that it doesn’t show the channel or song when I’m listening to SiriusXM, so you go to the Ford Home Screen and you don’t have a map anymore.
