I mean LaToya is terrible but I also don’t think New Orleans is any worse today than it was 20 years ago.

I moved away just before Katrina and spent a great deal of time in Lakeview. I don't remember near daily vehicle break ins or insane issues regarding robberies and carjackings (especially during the daytime.) Now, the streets were a God awful mess, graffiti was everywhere and the homeless were starting to become a serious issue but going from what I've seen / heard, it wasn't close to what it is now.

20 years ago Ray Nagin had sort of emerged on the scene and actually had me optimistic about the city’s possibilities.

Doesn’t seem like it was possible the owner of the Saints would be a victim of a car jacking 20 years ago.
