I’ve felt bad for this kid the last two years basically having to play without a true position. Very talented former top 100 recruit. Rewatched his HS film and he basically played the same Jack LBer position that Josh Allen played for House in a similar 3-3-5 style defense.

We know that BJ will most likely man that position this year and I expected him to dominate. If Webb decides to stay, could have a huge impact moving forward.

This.

I'm actually happy he didn't transfer out like he could have done and possibly played in 3-4 elsewhere early on.

he will be a good one, the 3/4 or 3/3/5 is the way to go in college football from now on... its multiple and you need someone (NT) to eat up two blocks... its a numbers game and its the only Defense that helps with the numbers... BK better find a NT.. let the pass rusher create chaos... recruit the big 6'4-6'5 290lbs ends (like Tyson Jackson/Maason Smith) and a 340lb NT (Tyler Shelvin/Ika) and let Webb create havoc..

Agreed, he looks the part. He has added to his physical frame and should be ready to get on the field and contribute.

Getting Webb, BJ & Arik out of Georgia that year was one of the coolest recruiting hattricks I've seen. I know they'll wreak havoc this year off the edge
