Has anyone been to the BVIs via catamaran lately?

Got a trip planned for the first week of May. Island hopping the BVIs with a group. Flying into St. Thomas, getting on a boat there and then island hopping around.
Has anyone done that recently? I know that there is a vaccine and testing requirement, but how strict is that? If you are hopping island to island, do you get tested every stop? How does this nonsense work?
P.S. The website really doesn't address island hopping that much.

We just did this trip in the first week of December. The requirements then were a negative test within 4 days of arrival and proof of vaccination (not sure if this is required). The problem is the requirements change day to day right now and since we've returned I understand the restrictions are tighter.
Once in the BVI's it was pretty much go wherever you want except for mask requirements at some places.
The best advice I can give is to get both the travel insurance and the COVID insurance. There is also some sort of Facebook BVI group you can get the latest info from that would be more accurate.

St Thomas is USVi and has their own entry requirements you will have to meet. BVIs has separate requirements that are more strict - and they enforce them. This usually requires a negative test before arrival and another test on arrival. As long as you stay within the BVI islands, you only need to do the entry test once. Will need to do yet another test before returning to USVI and USA - best to bring a home kit and do this on the boat as testing sites in BVIs are not very convenient. The BVI entry rules may well change before your trip, so best to monitor their official government website.
