The GM who has bumbled their rebuild is a hypnotist.
Actually, there was an article in the Miami Herald yesterday that suggested that Flores screwed up the easiest part of the rebuild by not losing enough games to secure the #1 overall pick and Joe Burrow. Instead he sought to create a culture of winning but that was useless since 75% of that roster is no longer part of that culture. Grier did a good job accumulating draft assets and has made some great picks. Unfortunately, he hasn’t solidified the OL. THAT is what is holding Tua back.

They still were perfectly capable of taking just as promising of a QB in Justin Herbert so I’m not going to hold it against him for winning too much

Which is dumb because they were tanking for Tua, who they still got, and a better QB was behind him.

He probably thought they might fire him for a bad season, which was probably a reasonable thought seeing as they fired him after "good" seasons.
