Bama played sloppy today and should have gotten beat. Nicky boy knows he's got an okie dokie team and it will show once he plays auburn and LSU. LSU should have gone in the number two spot but that's okay we will get there and go beyond!

They might have lost had it not been for that fumble returned for a TD.

What about that fumble that KY jelly couldn't recover. That FG was the game difference

Their offense lost 14-10, but enough about Bammer.

LSU won close games last year against quality opponents, blew out some others, lost to two teams they "should've" beaten. Beat 5 ranked teams, two other conference champs. Was the only team not lose in regulation and for all of the "2-loss, lucky to get in" talk...every other team had 2 losses. LSU was the best of them.

A 2-loss comment about LSU's NC is really more a comment on how crazy the whole '07 season was.

-- The qb fumble for a td
-- ref calling holding on the first td
-- LB catching the easy pick 6
-- WR catching the easy first down instead of punting at the end of 2nd qtr.
-- Falling on the easy fumble on Bama's last drive
-- not getting the free shot at the second extra point in the first quarter

The list goes on. Kentucky sucks.

I agree, but not because of today. This was an obvious trap/letdown game for Bama after last week, especially given Saban's history of playing up and down to his opponents. Bama showed some mettle today just escaping with a win. If they do that everygame the rest of the season, they'll be #2.

No, they aren't overrated. They had an off game. We went to the Sugar Bowl in 2006 when our last home game of the season was an overtime win against Ole Miss. It happens to good teams.

They played sloppy, but why should they have gotten beat?

Aren't we #2 in the Coaches and Harris polls? You know, the ones that make up the BCS? How small is your penis?

eta--I like going in the number 2 spot

Last regular season game of 2006 was a Win at Arkansas. And Bama is overrated.

I just don't see how you can pick and choose games to hype and games to ignore; you can't say they're overrated for the way they played KY today and ignore what they did to UGA last weekend.

The mark of a good team it is to win games when not playing thier best.
They wont got undefeated, but are a very good team.
Bama was up 31-0 at Georgia.

Nuff said.

Fairly simple. I watched them play UGA, KY & Tulane. Tulane put 318 yards on their defense, while Bama put up 172 yards of total offense.
