He was a huge lsu basketball fan in the day. Brown catches a lot of shite but I believe he won almost 20 NCAA trny games, 2 final four (screwed out of third against bobby knight), 3 elite eights, at least, 5 sweet 16. Wade may overtake all of that, but after what, 4 years, he has 2 trny wins himself?

Good points Tom. It's o.k. to like both...I'm not nor was i ever personally really a Dale guy, but I appreciate the memories many of his teams provided me - many great ones.
I would say both coaches took over a program at about as low a point as could be. A look at the first five years for each is a good point of comparison to start with.
