No one except for Alabama did at that time, and that was towards the end of Miles’ tenure.

LSU had analysts under Miles, just not that many. LSU beefed up their analysts stable when Kiffin was at Bama and told Ed all of the information the analysts were compiling. Ed something to the effect of, "they knew our team better than we did".
