I wanted to be wrong, but I wasn’t. Offense :(

-Gaines should be benched. I can’t handle his 12 year old offensive play. Either grow up or get replaced it’s beyond time. I don’t care about his “defense”
-Pinson is TREMENDOUS when he drives, but when he thinks he’s Steph Curry, he looks awful
-Reid needs to get tougher. Yes I know he’s a freshman but he plays too damn soft
-Days takes a lot of dumb fricking shots. Like, a lot. Senior leader who had 11 points with 9 of those on 3’s. One was a complete fluke. So he had 8 points tonight. That’s TERRIBLE. Drive to the damn basket and use your size to body up some players
-Replace Justice Williams for Gaines. 2 guard rotation should be Pinson and Williams until Gaines can grow up as a player

LSU's shooting problems are nothing new. And they were playing a great team on the road, so your statement was no stretch. Also, LSU was without one of their better shooters in Murray.

Brings his lunch pail to work kind of guy. If you’re going to be a defensive player, at least create steals and turnovers if you’re nonexistent on the offensive side.

I care about his defense. But at some point if you are an awful 3 point shooter 75% of your shots shouldn’t be 3’s. I guess he was put in a tough spot with Murray being out. Justice should take some of Gaines minutes going forward though

My bad I should’ve rephrased. It wouldn’t have mattered in this game. No one played great. It will matter going forward though

LOL...Gaines typically is the catalyst from the guard position.
Pinson doesn't know how or when to control the flow of the game. He simply doesn't understand that he needs to drive and finish or drive and create open shots for others. He is too content to stay on the perimeter and swing the ball.
Reid is too soft...enough said.
Days is waaay too in love with the 3pt line and doesn't take advantage of his size.
Eason is the best player on this team.
Fudge is also soft.
This team has no idea what to do in a half court offensive set. Their athleticism is only taken advantage of in transition. You won't beat many, if any, good teams with just transition scoring.

Give a shite or not doesn’t phase me. But my entire post is the truth. We either fix the offensive woes or get beat like a drum during conference.

Not saying we would have won, but he plays smart and is a good shooter. We need everything in our offensive arsenal to have a chance to beat a team like that on the road. And it was actually a 2-possession game late in the game even with our awful shooting and shot selection.

If Pinson could play how he played tonight (without fouling out obviously), I'd feel very confident going through the SEC.
Wade seemed to coach soft tonight and allowed an awful shot selection from a team that is bad from 3.

Not really. Everybody's losing their minds over Gaines' 5 turnovers while Pinson had 6. He had a stretch of getting to the line in the 2nd half which was good but we need him to make some 3s too.
