You arrange words that I know into sentences that are completely incomprehensible and may as well be in Mandarin, no small feat.

I find that all of my head-clearing hobbies require a lot of focus. My hobbies are limited by back problems, so when I get to do the things I can do on occasion I enjoy them even more. My primary hobbies are catching snakes (mostly venomous), playing guitar, and doing track days in my Mach 1. Playing guitar only requires focus because I’m not very good at it, but the other two hobbies have risk of serious injury or death without extreme focus. Same for my previous hobbies of motocross and sportbike track days. This seems counterintuitive - you would think that head-clearing hobbies would be more care free.

Been collecting Emerson Knives since I bought my first one in 1993. These knives something of a wierd status symbol for Marines. Here's a few pics.

When Fuji comes out with a FF camera, I'm selling the Sony. Still have the XH-1. I like the picture quality over the Sony. Sony low light performance is just necessary in winter.

It’s no big secret I enjoy building scale models. I’ve shared my work here several times. I shared these two in the OT just last weekend.

It is very relaxing. I have a room at home that’s my “model room”. I have a desk that fits perfectly in the dormer window. I can go in there on the weekend and work on whatever model I’m building at the moment while listening to my Spotify or a podcast. While I’m in my model room working, I can relax and clear my mind.

yep, this was me for a long time. Bad knees made me resort to walking. walking 5 miles with no phone gives me time to do a lot of thinking.

usually on Saturdays i do it in the morning and go over what i want to accomplish over the weekend.
