The other side of this is that you drivers don't see is that tipping well is no guarantee you're going to get your food hot and fast either. I tip very well at restaurants, but traditionally you tip someone when you get good service, on these apps you tip first so it's really not a tip, it's a bounty. People say delivery is a luxury, well, it fricking sucks when you actually pay tip well and pay those luxury prices and get cold shitty food anyway, which is often. So I give up using delivery apps unless I'm desperate and can't drive for whatever reason and I'm willing to eat cold shite.
