re: Official Christmas eve/day family fight thread

We got stuck flying my mom to our house because nobody wants to be around her for the holidays or ever for that matter. I went out for groceries and to pick up moms phone that she left at a store 40 minutes away. I forgot to take my phone with me and it was on the kitchen counter. My sister texted my wife and myself and asked how it was going with mom. My wife replied that she was driving us all crazy and that she had to leave the house for a run to clear her head and pray for sanity. My mom read the text as it popped up on my phone
When I returned, my mother was crying and wanted to fly back home immediately. We argued about everyones shortcomings for an hour, then gave her a bunch of wine and eggnog. She seemed better today. She has dementia so maybe she forgot yesterday.
