I'm not in a position to do any searching right now, but I would lean away from builds with a 3090 and focus on those with a 3080. Sure, the 3090 is the best card you can buy now, but you're looking at twice the price (for the card) for about a 10% uplift in performance. The GPU apocalypse isn't going to last forever. Save that $1,000 and use it to upgrade your GPU a generation sooner than you might have, otherwise. Even with crazy price inflation, a hypothetical 4080 will likely cost less than $1k total, and it will likely crush a 3090 in performance.

ETA: Actually, as an addendum, if you are going to primarily/exclusively play Flight Sim, I might go 6800xt for the extra vram, but it wouldn't be my general choice, as I think DLSS is poised to vastly set Nvidia apart from AMD for the short to mid term.

So , AMD or Intel? What are the perks of one over the other or is it just a brand name/ configuration preference?

Last build I went AMD But , that was when quad core CPUs were the top notch jam sandwich and even then i think i wish i had chosen Intel because i thought after seeing the performance of my friends rig run the same program that it ran better than mine.
