I would like to hear from Woodward on whether he adequately anticipated the new NIL environment or whether he deliberately elected not to go the way of the Bama, Texas and TA&M folks.

He obviously didn't anticipate the new environment. Jumbo seriously beefed up his recruiting support staff over the past year and it showed. They had deals ready to go. All legal.
In some ways this evens the playing field. You can now just find guys money.
