Suggestions on triple monitor setup

I've been working with dual screens for a while, and thinking about adding a third. Currently have a pair of 23 inch widescreen monitors, and would like a smaller third monitor either in the middle or off to one side to keep email and instant messages on all the time. It can even be vertical if I need to save space. I've got a cabinet I've set up for a standing desk, and have 50" in width to work with, and about 30" in height, so width is more of a concern. I can't just use my laptop screen since the docking station takes up too much space, and I have it docked on a lower shelf instead.
Something like this, but mount the center one below the other two, and it could be a 15-17 inch.

Seems like you have it figured out

That stand looks unstable. Regarding the width I have a vertical 27" monitor flanked by 2 24" monitors and it just barely fits on a 60" desk.

I'm going to mount it through a grommet in the desk, not get something with feet on it. Just looking for ideas on monitor mounts and that was one of the first ones I came across.

Yeah, I would probably get something like a 17 inch max and do it vertical in the middle for emails/documents and leave the widescreens on the sides for excel and other applications.

I ended up with a 49” Samsung. Word doc, spreadsheet and email side by side by side.

I can't imagine using a 17" monitor regular much less vertical. I went up to a 27" vertical because the 24" wasn't wide enough when vertical especially with sidebars being a common ui element these days. Real estate gets tight in the vertical world and a side scrolling mouse is king.

I have (2) 27" monitors stacked on top of each other and a vertical 21" monitor that I use for email. I like having my main work screens stacked instead of side by side.
