I’m not sure why. Sports went on with packed stadiums through the delta wave which will have been far worse
For example LSU played with a packed house with 3,000 plus covid hospitalizations in LA
We won’t sniff that number this time around

Seems like Omicron or whatever is affecting the rest of the US the way Delta did in Louisiana
Cases wise, not necessarily as many hospitalizations
