This is a really Weird level of hostility. Anyone who has seen a dream scenario go sour over time and takes the ride down wonders if they got out too late. Much like John Ed Bradley’s book about playing at LSU makes clear, a lot of people struggle with their college experience. It was SO intense it’s hard to duplicate. And you don’t have to be on the football team to duplicate that feeling. It could be anything that was emotionally intense. Especially if it was part of a tight knit group. Damn people get so angry. What’s up with that?

I gave him a lot of sh for some of his past years, but he found his game this year and I believe he made himself some money.

Sorry homey
Guess I woke up hostile and working on first cup of coffee
You shared and I was a dick
That’s on me

I had to go back and read your first post. I read it as you crapping on Deculus, after reading your explanation of what you meant, the first post seemed much clearer.
If I understand correctly, you are not suggesting he peaked early but more like wondering if he thinks missed his chance and that the lows at the end felt lower because of the highs that came before, like the exhilaration of the 2019 season.
