LSU vs Georgia Tech in basketball
1986 Southeast Regional Semifinal - OMNI in ATL
I was there. It was a blast.
Then GT paid us back in 1990 in Knoxville when LSU had Shaq, CJ, Stanley Roberts. Maurice Williamson, and Vernel Singleton and still lost.
In both cases the team with the better raw talent was outplayed by the better 'team'.

Yeah. LSU was up 22-5 to start that game then Georgia Tech went nuts from behind the 3 point line. Lost by 3 points. SEVERAL games that season LSU was up by double digits and lost.
