Incorrect, and Texas is a great example. The players at Texas over the last two decades have been very average compared to most top 40 programs and Texas has more money than any school in the country. That money clearly did not help them over the last two decades; but it's about to start helping now that NIL is out in the open.

Like it or hate it, NIL is changing the landscape of college athletics.

Texas has been consistently in the top 10 the last 2 decades in recruiting, even getting top 5 classes multiple times
