You're incredibly naive if you think recruits weren't bought before NIL. All this did was remove the curtain, it was always the worst kept secret anyway. Texas has had highly rated recruiting classes for a while and look what that's done for them. I don't understand all the doom and gloom reactions to this.

Of course kids were paid illegally before NIL. Now with NIL, do you really believe the illegal payments go away?
