That’s definitely true. If and when China invades Taiwan, it’s going to make the Fall of Afghanistan look like nothing, especially since we’ll see it all too. The Taiwanese are the most tech savvy people in the world and China isn’t going to blow up their infrastructure or technology on mass since that’s what they’re after.

The People’s Republic of China hasn’t, but the Chinese people have been going back and forth with Taiwan for centuries and managed to reconquer it several times.

You know what makes it really sick: this is a perk for Xi Jinping. He’s got a disproportionately male population he’s got to deal with, so what better than to make them cannon fodder?
